This Privacy Policy explains how SierraSystemsDE LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you engage our web design, platform administration, and IT support services. We are committed to transparency and compliance with the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act (DPDPA).
Information We Collect
We collect personal information necessary to facilitate our services. This includes:
- Contact Information: Name, business email address, phone number, and physical business address.
- Project Information: Business details, website content, branding assets, and domain requirements provided by you for your projects.
- Account Credentials: As part of our administrative and support services, we create and manage login credentials such as usernames and passwords for platforms including, but not limited to, Squarespace and related business tools.
Management of Client Credentials
As part of our administrative and technical support services, SierraSystemsDE acts as a custodian for your digital account credentials. We treat these credentials with a high level of security.
- Cloud-Based Security: We utilize Bitwarden, a professional-grade, cloud-based password management solution, to house client credentials. Credentials are not stored on our local computers or premises; they are securely hosted and managed within the Bitwarden cloud infrastructure.
- Encryption Standards: We utilize Bitwarden’s zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption. Your credentials are encrypted on the client side before they are transmitted to and stored on Bitwarden’s cloud servers.
- Centralized Administration: We utilize Bitwarden Organizations to manage access and securely share administrative access to digital assets while maintaining oversight of who can access account information.
- Purpose-Limited Access: We access your credentials strictly for the performance of agreed-upon technical maintenance, updates, or troubleshooting. We do not use these credentials for any unauthorized purpose.
- Data Handoff & Deletion: Upon termination of our services, we will transfer full administrative control back to you. Once you confirm receipt and assume full control, we will securely remove your credentials from our Bitwarden administrative database.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve our web design and platform administration services.
- Securely manage your digital accounts as your designated administrator.
- Communicate with you regarding project updates, support requests, and billing.
- Comply with legal and contractual obligations.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third parties necessary to perform our services. These may include Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery, and security; Squarespace and other client platforms when applicable; Google Workspace for company-branded email; Wave and/or Stripe for invoice processing; and Bitwarden for credential storage and management.
Your Rights — Delaware Residents
Under the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, subject to applicable exceptions and contractual obligations.

Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical security measures to protect your information, including encrypted password management and secure access controls. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. Updates will be posted to this page with the “Last Updated” date revised accordingly.
